Mapping Library
A menu is displayed to the left when entering this section, which contains the following options: Mapping Inventory, Vector Mapping, Maps of Guipuzcoa, 1,5000 Series, Orthophotos and Lidar Data.
Municipal Mapping Inventory:lallows you to locate, by municipalities, the surveys undertaken by the municipal authorities themselves or by other organisations, as well as their scope and the encompassing files. Enter the name of a municipality and validate the search query to be able to view the data at the bottom of the page.
1:5000 Vector Mapping: allows you to download and obtain vector files at 1:5,000 scale. Once you have selected a point of interest on the territory, you would be able to download the 1:5,000 mapping files for that particular area. To locate the point or place of interest, you can either enter a place name in the geographic search engine or a geographical grid 1:5,000 in the appropriate box. This will allow you to locate on the map the general area; you can then select the point or place of interest by clicking it on that map. You can download the mapping 1:5,000 by clicking on the map. The query outcome will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
In Maps of Guipuzcoa, different maps of Guipuzcoa can be downloaded by clicking on the map of your interest. Once you have opened it, right click the mouse on the enlarged image and select "Save Image As ..." from the drop-down menu.
1:5000 Series allows you to view the 1:5000 sheets of the different years available for that particular place. To be able to do this, you must locate a point on the territory by entering either a place name in the geographic search engine or a geographical grid 1:5,000 in the appropriate box.
This will allow you to locate the general area on the map and then select the point or area of your interest by clicking on it. The query outcome will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
LIDAR Data
This section allows downloading arithmetic data or LIDAR. It determines the distance from a laser point source to an object or surface using a laser beam.
